In short: The Workplace in Timebook serves as an organization-level hub where teams can collaborate effectively, share resources, and align on strategic goals. Accessed through the Navigator, the Workplace section provides modules for managing high-level objectives, tracking project work, and storing organization-wide documentation.
In Timebook, the Workplace is a central hub where all members of your organization can collaborate using shared resources. Think of it as the digital equivalent of your organization, where everyone can access shared data, align on company-wide objectives, and track progress across multiple teams and projects.
Your email address can only be linked to a single Workplace, but you can join multiple Workplaces using different emails—a great feature for those working across organizations.

The Workplace brings together organization-wide tools and data, helping members stay connected and informed on strategic plans and activities. It is designed to streamline product management for enhanced visibility, improved collaboration, and easier tracking. In short, a Timebook Workplace provides a single platform to help your teams build exceptional products.
In Timebook, Workplaces bring everyone and everything together at the organizational level, supporting high-level goals and shared resources.
Teams, on the other hand, provide focused spaces for groups working on specific tasks or projects. For more information, see Team navigation
You’ll find a dedicated section for your Workplace in the Navigator on the left. This section contains several modules that help you access different areas of your Workplace—see below for more information on each module. The Workplace section is collapsible, so you can hide it if you want to focus on other parts of the Navigator.
The modules in this section provide an overview of key areas within your organization. Some modules, like [Goals] and [Wiki], apply to the entire Workplace, supporting company-wide objectives and shared resources. Others, like [Projects] and [Teams], offer roll-up views or overviews, giving you a high-level snapshot of all available items.

The Workplace in Timebook is designed to foster collaboration across teams and departments by providing a shared space for resources, planning, and goal alignment. Here are several key ways the Workplace enhances collaborative efforts within your organization:
To improve collaboration even further, invite more people to your Workplace.
Aligning on high-level objectives: With organization-wide access to Goals and Initiatives, everyone in your Workplace has a clear view of top priorities and strategic objectives. This alignment keeps everyone focused on shared outcomes, helping them work together toward measurable results.
Unified Project and Team overviews: You can use the consolidated view of all Projects across the Workplace to get insights into ongoing work. This roll-up view enables everyone to align resources and spot collaboration opportunities. You can also get an overview of all Teams within the Workplace to stay connected with different groups and join new Teams as work evolves, strengthening collaboration across departments.
Centralized documentation: The Wiki is a central knowledge base where teams can store and access important documentation, policies, and guidelines. This shared repository ensures that everyone can work with the same information and a single source of truth.
Long-term planning: Roadmaps offer a visual timeline for major activities, helping teams coordinate work over extended periods. By making dependencies and milestones visible, Roadmaps support effective planning and help teams align on deadlines and resource needs.
Owners and Admins can customize various aspects of their Workplace to better fit the organization’s needs.
