Wiki (in Workplace)

Publish guidelines and best practices for all Workplace members.

Share organizational knowledge

Timebook Wiki is a central repository for storing, sharing, and managing your organization's knowledge. You can use our Wikis to write and maintain company policies, manuals, training materials, FAQs, and more.

Workplace Wiki will reduce the time spent searching for information within the company. Also, it is a collaborative tool, so every Workplace member can participate in creating content here.

Most of the features available in the Wiki section of your Workplace are similar to the ones in the [Documents] module of Teams.

For more information on Timebook Documents, see Documents (in Teams)

Build your Wiki with Pages

Each Timebook Wiki consists of Pages and subpages that store the actual content. The [Wiki] tab has a middle pane that shows all your Wiki Pages. Use the arrows to the right of a Page to hide or show all the subpages.

You can also change the structure of your Wiki by reordering the Pages on the list. To do so, drag a Page and drop it in a new place. You can even use this feature to turn a subpage into a main Page or the other way around.

You can save your favorite Wiki Pages for easier access.

Use the dedicated buttons in the top-right corner of a Wiki Page to either:

  • Bookmark a Wiki Page to store it in a dedicated [Bookmarks] module. This way, you can always find all your favorite Timebook objects in one central location.

  • Pin a Wiki Page to the Navigator. This way, you can quickly jump to the pinned object using the menu on the left, regardless of where you are in Timebook.

For more information about these features, see Bookmarks & pins

Create a Wiki Page

To create a new Page in your Wiki:

  1. Press the [+] button at the top of the middle pane.

  2. Give your new Page a meaningful name and press [Create] to confirm.

  3. Your new Page is now visible at the end of the list. You can drag and drop it to a different place in the structure.

We have dedicated articles about editing content on Pages and using Page settings.

For more information, see Pages

You can share any Page in your Wiki with other Workplace members. You can even create a public version of a Page, making it available to readers outside Timebook.
